helped shape a nation.

Specialty coffee brewed with the spirit of revolution. Since the patriots chose coffee over tea, we've been honoring that declaration — one cup at a time.

Coffee Fueled the Revolution

When the Sons of Liberty dumped 342 chests of British tea into Boston Harbor on December 16, 1773, they didn't just protest a tax — they made coffee the patriotic drink of a new nation. John Adams wrote that drinking tea had become "unpatriotic," and coffeehouses became the meeting rooms of revolution, where pamphlets were passed, plans were made, and independence was imagined.

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence in 2026, Delaware Crossing honors that original act of caffeinated defiance. Every cup we pour is a small declaration. Every sip, a revolution.

The Colonial Menu

Drinks Worth Fighting For

Dark Roast

Paul Revere's Midnight Roast

One if by land, two if by sea — but always one cup before the ride. This bold dark roast fueled midnight missions and will fuel yours.

Smoky chocolate · Deep molasses · Bold finish

"The regulars are coming — and they want this roast."

Medium Roast

George Washington's Colonial Blend

The General demanded excellence in all things. This smooth medium roast embodies the steady resolve that crossed an icy Delaware on Christmas night.

Smooth body · Caramel warmth · Clean finish

"Leadership begins with the first cup."

Espresso Roast

Ben Franklin's Brew

Lightning in a bottle — or rather, in a cup. Franklin harnessed electricity; we harnessed the perfect espresso roast. Both will jolt you awake.

Intense · Rich crema · Electric finish

"An espresso a day keeps the Redcoats away."

Hot Chocolate

Martha's Colonial Chocolate

While the General strategized, Martha kept the camp warm. This rich hot chocolate is the comfort that sustained a revolution.

Velvety chocolate · Warm spice · Comforting

"Even revolutions need a moment of warmth."

Blended Black Tea

The Loyalist's Tea

We serve it — but we judge you for ordering it. A nod to those who chose the Crown, this blended black tea is surprisingly excellent for a traitor's drink.

Black tea · Cinnamon · Cardamom hints

"Ordered with a side of side-eye."

Americano

The American-OH!

Espresso meets hot water in the most patriotic union since the colonies joined forces. Bold, clean, and unapologetically American — the drink that means business.

Bold espresso · Clean finish · Smooth body

"Life, liberty, and the pursuit of a perfect Americano."

"Give Me Coffee or Give Me Death."
— Patrick Henry (probably)
"I regret that I have but one cup to use for my coffee."
— Nathan Hale (revised)
"Decaf? That's treason."
— The Continental Congress
